Antique Crucifixes and Medals

Gracefully designed, 24mm solid sterling medal of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with a profile of Mary on the reverse. Lovely details. Some wear from touch on the face and hair of Jesus.

4 3/4" Wood cross with nicely detailed corpus, skull and crossbones, INRI scroll, probably made of aluminum or other white metal. Marked "Made in Germany" on the back. Nice old crucifix. Nice little hanger securely tacked to the back, old wire is still wrapped though the hanger.

This beautiful crucifix is sold and thus not for sale (NFS), but I have left it here because it is such a wonderful example of a gorgeous, historic crucifix. Bronze and wood (probably rosewood) inlay Civil War Era Crucifix, fantastic! Although this crucifix has some cracking and loss of wood (crack on front just below the corpus and loss on the back- see picture below) it is a wonderful example of a mid- 1800's hand made crucifix. The file marks from the maker are still visible on the sides of the crucifix. Just an amazing piece of history. 5" tall, not including the ring.

Lovely little solid sterling Miraculous Medal. I believe there are traces of white and red enamel around the edges, probably had red, white, and blue. 20mm

Very nice traditional Basque rosary ring. 1 3/4" at its widest diameter. Made in Italy.
