Absolutely gorgeous beads on this vintage rosary! There is a lovely Pardon Crucifix- I'm sure it is not original to the rosary though, someone has switched out the original crucifix for this one but it is certainly a beautiful crucifix! There is a brass Miraculous Medal, brass center and the links and chain are also brass. The beads are handcut and show minor wear- what are commonly called "flea bites," tiny tiny wear signs along the edges of the facets. Nicely sized rosary at just over 23" in length when laid flat. High quality rosary- each link has the extra circular link to prevent kinking and breakage of the links. Would be much more expensive if it had the original crucifix!

The more than a century of prayer on this rosary is something to behold! Extremely rare and fully intact, this late 1800s French rosary is absolutely amazing for both its history and its devotion. Entirely made of bone including the cross, this rosary is 22 1/2" when laid flat. The cross is 1 3/4" inches in length and tiny detailed corpus attached with three nails. Although this amazing rosary is sturdy with no fraying of the string, it should be a display piece with only occasional use due to the age. A couple of the bone beads are split through the equator of the beads- if this bothers you, you could easily put a tiny bit of glue to reattach the halves. I never alter antique rosaries, leaving that to the discretion of the new owner.

Fabulously rich givre, or cased glass, crystal beads are the highlight of this spectacular, high quality rosary. Each bead is a unique hand cut pear shape with the most brilliant deep blue core. Simply gorgeous. Note the extra circular links between each link- making this a rosary that will not kink. Also not the unusual cut out center medal with Mary on one side and The Sacred Heart of Jesus on the other. A large rosary at 24". Early mid-20th century.

Old and lustrous hand cut mother of pearl beads make this a fascinating antique rosary. The beads are all different in shape and size and rather crudely cut. Sweet little heart shaped center. What a beautiful treasure and well over 100 years old. This is a small and delicate rosary- one to be treasured and admired but probably can not take daily use. Note the tiny silver corpus that shows wear from years of devotion. Rosary is a delicate 16" in length when laid flat. This is the very old style chain from the 1800's. It's a very strong style of chain but is prone to kinking- just gently rub between your fingers to loosen any kinds in the chain (not the links but the chain part)
